What I do
I'm creative, what can I tell you?
I've been doing this a long time. I've been drawing since I could hold a crayon and writing for decades too. In that time I've not only had to develop my skills but also my knowledge of a lot of creative industries, because in the pursuit of my own goals I soon discovered that being creative in itself is no use unless you can produce material that people like and get it to the people who can help you make money out of it.
So that's what I do. I create commercial product and help others make their creative product commercial. Sometimes that starts with a manuscript assessment. Sometimes it evolves into mentoring, acting as an agent, co-writer, ghost-writer or illustrator.
It's very exciting. I've been able to help such wonderful creative folk as Anthony O'Neill, Christopher Ride, Nansi Kunze, William Tevelein, Will Schaefer and Martin Chimes establish their careers. I've also been lucky enough to forge firm friendships and work with many of Australia's top creative people like Christopher Sequeira, Jason Franks and Bruce Mutard.
